Some friends came over for an afternoon craft. It was quite the effort, but maybe we'll be faster next time! Step one: cut 2x4 into blocks. Step 2: Paint the blocks
Steps 3-?: Cut out paper, mod-podge to blocks, cut out letters (Thanks to Kim's cricut!), modpodge letters, tie ribbon... Ta-da! (Cameron's new favorite phrase.) I am not good at tutorials am I? Photographs courtesy of Krista.

It was fun!! When are we going to do Thanksgiving ones?
Those turned out great. You have been just crafting away. Hey, those would be a great Super Saturday project, you wouldn't be interested in doind a class on something like that with a Christmas saying on it would you?
You do just fine, but I understand. I might need a few ladies to just help at some stations with questions or guidance on projects. Would you be open to something like that?
So so cute, Jo! I love those blocks. Thanks for sharing!
Those turned out great! Did you have to sand them after cutting? Wish I had the time for fun crafts like that.
Those are super cute. I haven't seen halloween ones yet. I love them. Maybe I will have to get crafty...
These are perfect. Our next craft night is vinyl lettering on blocks!
Umm...I think I need to come to your craft days. Those are too cute!
super cute. I'll be making some as soon as I can. For some reason Halloween is my favorite holiday to decorate for. Next is Christmas but only because I haven't figured out my niche in that area. I'll be looking forward to whatever you have up your sleeve for that holiday.
I had no idea how crafty you were! I need some help in this area so I will be checking in!
I was so inspired that I tried it for myself and it turned out great! I'm even planning ones for Christmas!
So cute!! I'm sure everyone at swap will be so excited (just kidding!;) Thanks for the idea though. Hopefully, I can replicate it! Thanks for sharing!
Jo, I really want to these for super sat. Would you mind if I stole your idea? Would you be willing to let me use yours for display on Sunday?
I made these with a friend last weekend. Thanks for the idea. I am a mod podge a holic now, I think. I wrote T H A N K S on the back of S P O O K Y, and made a longer blog that said GIVE that way the blocks last through to thanksgiving...we have already discovered the possiblities with multiple letters, like: Give S P A N K S, and so on.
